Ranked a First Growth Barsac in 1855, Chteau Climens was acquired by Lucien Lurton in 1970, the year in which his daughter, Brnice, was born, who now owns and manages the estate; farmed according to biodynamic principles. Renowned for her extraordinary attention to detail, Brnice is now responsible for a wine that rivals d'Yquem in quality: a wine that is marked for an extraordinary tension between concentrated flavours, luscious sweetness and bracing balancing acidity. With dried apricots, orange marmalade, crme brle and honey fresh from the hive, this is extraordinary stuff!
