From the good 1981 vintage, this lovely red wine scores 85/100 Parker points and is one of my favorite Haut-Batailleys between 1971 and 1981. Silky on the palate and quite perfumed, with a pronounced oaky bouquet, this velvety, round, pleasant wine is quite delicious. Drink now - 2030.
