From the good 2012 vintage and scoring 90/100 Parker Points, Better integration of new oak has worked well for this wine from proprietor Christian Dauriac. Dense plum/purple in color, with sweet fig, blackberry and cassis, this is a chunky, fleshy, concentrated Pomerol with the oak, acidity, tannin and alcohol nicely integrated. Anticipated maturity: now-2028. The blend from the estates 7.5 acres is 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc. Drink now - 2028. A delicious anniversary gift.
