1983 Chateau Pichon Longueville Comtesse De Lalande 1983 2eme Grand Cru Classe Pauillac

From the good 1983 vintage, this lovely Claret scores 94/100 Parker points, Consistently one of the great wines of the 1983 vintage, as well as one of my personal favorites, this beautiful wine has been gorgeous to drink since bottling. It displays no signs of evolution, although it remains undeniably rich, seductive, and compelling. Deep dark ruby-colored, with a huge nose of Asian spices, blackcurrants, plums, and flowers, this super-concentrated, velvety-textured wine reveals gobs of rich, creamy fruit. It can be drunk now or cellared for 15-20 years. It is Pauillac at its most decadent and seductive! . Drink now - 2028. This vintage wine is shipped in a deluxe silk lined wooden presentation box with four wine accessories (corkscrew, wine pourer, drip stopper & wine thermometer) [worth 17.99] at no extra cost and comes with our limited edition 'Great First Growths of Bordeaux' Print (worth 49.97) at no extra cost and now includes a free gift card with your personal message and tasting and storage notes.
