BACKGROUND TOSTRATHMILL Strathmill was born in 1891 as Glenisla-Glenlivet within the walls of a converted flour mill called Strathisla Mills. The distillerys name was changed four years later. We like Strathmill because its a good, solid Speyside whisky. Its got a nice creamy note thats not often seen in its contemporaries, though. This whisky develops, matures and then softens from the palate to the finish. Its a great one to sit back and enjoy.
