Bollinger
An exceptional 178 hectares of vines, 85% of which are in Grand Cru and Premier Cru towns, are owned by Champagne Bollinger. Seven primary villages make up their property: A, Avenay, Louvois, Tauxires, and Verzenay, which are cultivated with Pinot Noir; Cuis, which is planted with Chardonnay; and Champvoisy, which is planted with Meunier. One of the handful of Houses, Bollinger grows the majority of the grapes used in their blends. 60% of the vineyards at the House are planted with pinot noir, which epitomises the House style, strong, sophisticated, and with exceptional structure. Champagne Bollinger received the High Environment Value (HEV) designation in 2012. This certification recognises a number of environmental practises that the Maison has put in place.
