The base is Gammel Opland matured for four years in Oloroso Sherry casks before being further matured in virgin American white oak bourbon-style casks for an additional two years. This gives a rich and complex taste and aroma of oak and caraway, and typical bourbon-type notes of vanilla, oak and coconut.
