On the Island of Hven located in the strait ofresund between Denmark and Sweden lies the Spirit of Hven distillery. Founded in 2008, this family owned distillery became the third pot still distillery ever to be built in Sweden and is one of the world's smallest commercial pot distilleries. Handcrafted and made from scratch only with certified organic ingredients. The fresh spirit is oak matured both prior and after distillation giving extra depth to the character. Only the best fresh organically grown and harvested herbs, fruits and botanicals are selected to get this very smooth, gentle and enticing character. Tasting Notes: Fresh citric notes, scents of apples and pears, with elderflower and honey brought together with strings of vanilla and cocoa. Can be served as side wagon to a cold appetizer, over ice with strawberry or even drunk with addition of water alone. It is a perfect ingredient in cocktails as well as when preparing and flavouring food.
