Distilled according to the oldest Kryddersnaps recipe, with the well-rounded and rich flavour of Nordic caraway. Seasoning with Sherry and raw malt gives the taste extra body and complexity. Brndum Snaps is a traditional aquavit, whose roots date back to 1840, when snaps distiller Anthon Brndum took over his fathers distilleries and hereafter started on his own in Copenhagen. The classic Brndum Snaps is crystal clear caraway aquavit with a mild taste of caraway and Sherry, a mild spiced scent of caraway and liquorice with a complex aftertaste. Its mild flavour makes it particularly suitable as a base for homemade snaps and Aquavit. Tasting Notes: The restrained caraway aroma is slightly dry in nature and contains hints of liquorice and yellow blossoms. On the palate is a hint of cloves with a slightly bitter finish.
