Tanqueray
Charles Tanqueray meticulously documented his ideas and discoveries over the course of his life. Fuelled by a relentless pursuit of perfection, he gathered inspiration everywhere from the exotic Eastern spices unloading on the docklands of London to his journeys to the farcorners of Europe. At times, however, inspiration would come from a source closer to home. In his notes from 1839 we find Lovage a recipe showcasing a balanced and savoury flavour derived from the finest local English ingredients. Tasting Notes: Tanqueray Lovages perennial bloom and deeply aromatic flavours make for a distinctively savoury taste, tingling with a herbaceous heart.
