The Werner winery is ranked amongst the oldest-established wine growing estates near the Mosel river, looking back at a long history. A family property since 1650, is run by a husband and wife team, Bernhard and Margaret Werner, and has select 6 hectares of steep slope vineyards, and produces some brilliant dry, off-dry and sweet Rieslings and a very rare Mosel Pinot Noir. Grape Variety: 100% Reisling Farming Practices: Sustainable Tasting Notes: A lusciously sweet Riesling with aromas of honey and candied fruits.
