Chteau Crabitey
Chteau Crabitey is situated 20 miles to the south of Bordeaux in the wine region of Graves. It was built in 1872 byFranciscan nuns who planted vines to provide an income for the Chteau which they used as an orphanage. Theestate was then purchased in 1985 by Jean-Ralph de Butler and is now run by his son, Arnaud. The vineyards of theGraves benefit from the cooling influence of the Garonne river just to east, and the deep gravel soils add mineralityand complexity to the wines. Grape Varieties: 50% Merlot, 50% Cabernet Sauvignon. Tasting Notes: Deep, intense colour and an equally intense bouquet, where ripe, black-berried fruits are highlighted by a hint of oak. The supple opening gives way to a well-structured mid-palate displaying beautifully dense, velvety tannins. A well-balanced whole with indisputable elegance, as confirmed by the lingering finish. Closure: Natural Cork Download Product Info (https://www.dropbox.com/sh/hngxfflkiq37on8/AAAU8bmdx-lwx_vpjYLFweGna?dl=0&preview=Ch%C3%A2teau+Crabitey.pdf)
